Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fashion Designer at Visual Studios Plus located in Colombo. The Fashion Designer will create new designs and improve existing ones. Their day-to-day tasks will include conducting research, developing sketches and designs, fitting clothes, selecting fabrics, and overseeing the production process to ensure that the design meets quality standards.

Qualifications

• Skills in Fashion Design, Textiles, and Embroidery
• Experience in fittings and making adjustments to designs
• Knowledge of design software and techniques
• Strong understanding of fabrics, patterns, and trends
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with production teams and clients
• Bachelor's degree or certification in Fashion Design or related field
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and work well under tight deadlines
• Experience working in the FMCG or Hospitality industry is a plus
