Colombo, Sri LankaLKR 160,000 - 290,000/monthOne of our reputed clients is seeking dedicated and proactive Mandarin Translator to support communication and coordination within large-scale project operations in Sri Lanka.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide accurate Mandarin-to-English and English-to-Mandarin translation support for project teams. • Assist with verbal interpretation during meetings, site discussions, and operational activities. • Translate documents, reports, instructions, and technical communications when required. • Support communication between local staff and international stakeholders. • Coordinate with project teams to ensure smooth day-to-day communication flow. • Assist in preparing and maintaining translated records and documentation. • Support on-site operational coordination and communication activities. • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive information. • Provide language assistance during project discussions, training sessions, and operational meetings.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written). • Ability to communicate effectively with both local and international teams. • Prior experience in translation, interpretation, or coordination roles is an advantage. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to work in fast-paced project environments. • Good organizational and coordination abilities. • Willingness to work on-site and support operational activities when required. • Fresh graduates with strong language proficiency are also encouraged to apply. • Having a valid driving license is an added advantage.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written). • Good English communication skills are mandatory. • Knowledge of Sinhala and/or Tamil is an advantage.
