Colombo, Sri LankaLKR 160,000 - 290,000/monthOne of our reputed clients is seeking dedicated and hands-on Wind Turbine Field Engineers to join their project team, supporting installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of wind turbine generators on-site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform on-site wind turbine installation including tower, nacelle, and rotor blade assembly. • Execute mechanical assembly, bolting, electrical wiring, and hoisting operations. • Carry out commissioning, testing, and trial operations of wind turbine generators. • Configure parameters and operate commissioning software independently. • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system faults. • Use tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and diagnostic equipment. • Conduct quality inspections, maintain records, and document work with photos/videos. • Handle and maintain tools including torque wrenches and testing equipment. • Support additional site activities such as cable laying, calibration, and repairs.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical diagrams. • Willingness to work in outdoor, high-altitude, and remote project environments. • Availability for project-based work, overtime, and emergency tasks. • Low-voltage electrician certification and high-altitude certification are preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, or related Engineering field. • Prior experience or knowledge in renewable energy or power industry is an advantage. • Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply. • Must have a valid driving license.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
• Fluent in Chinese or English (spoken and written). • Basic to intermediate Mandarin communication skills required. • Knowledge of Sinhala/Tamil is an advantage.
