Profile

• You must have an outstanding academic and industrial track record with a recognised degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills. Most of all you must have a passion for developing high-quality software.

Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC with the ability to influence process improvements.
• Hands-on experience in BDD-driven automation test scripting (Java, Selenium, Appium, Cucumber) and maintaining test suites in different release cycles.
• Deep understanding of the release scope, business context, cross product scenarios
• Takes ownership of specific areas/products or modules within a larger scope
• Set up and maintenance of test environments and data.
• Very good understanding of SQL database concepts and basic queries
• Excellent understanding of the bug life cycle and defect triaging.
• Clear communication with project managers, the development team and internal stakeholders.

Qualification & Experience

• At least 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, preferably in Retail applications.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good understanding of the software development process, including Agile methods.
• Use of Jira or equivalent issue tracking systems.
• Previous hands-on experience in automation framework development will be an added advantage.
