We are looking for a Project Manager to directly work with one of Surge’s clients to lead cross-functional digital activation efforts across regions and events, driving alignment between creative production, paid media, and project management to ensure campaigns are launched on time, optimized continuously, and planned well in advance.

Responsibilities:

Campaign & Asset Activation

  • Collaborate closely with the Creative team to plan and produce assets.
  • Proactively submit and manage asset requests via Asana and Google Sheets, ensuring all deadlines for trafficking and activation are met.
  • Download, quality-check, and organize final creative assets, updating paths and references within the Trafficking Taxonomy documentation.
  • Write and validate ad copy, coordinate translations where required, confirm URLs, and double-check trafficking taxonomy for accuracy.

Project & Timeline Management

  • Develop and maintain detailed activation timelines to ensure every event has live assets up to 12 months in advance.
  • Steward the setup and execution of local campaigns for every event, ensuring consistent readiness across regions.
  • Manage time-sensitive internal requests, including new campaign launches, platform access, and administrative support.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Join recurring Sales and Marketing calls to stay informed on business priorities and upcoming initiatives.
  • Maintain daily communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and alignment.
  • Help manage expectations across creative, media, and leadership teams.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Check campaign results daily to ensure all activations are running as expected and escalate issues when needed.
  • Maintain and update a Daily Status Document, sharing progress and risks with the extended teams.
  • Support ongoing testing and optimization efforts by coordinating new creative and campaign iterations.

Platform & Channel Enablement

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge in troubleshooting and resolving issues across TikTok and other paid media platforms, including Meta and Google.
  • Identify operational gaps and recommend process improvements to improve speed, consistency, and scale.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing operations, campaign activation, project management, or a similar role.
  • Strong experience working within digital marketing environments, including paid media, creative production, and campaign trafficking.
  • Proven ability to manage complex timelines across multiple stakeholders and markets.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Asana, Jira, Trello, ClickUp, or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage large volumes of assets, links, and documentation.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments with overlapping priorities.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with creative, technical, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience working with global or remote teams is a strong advantage.
