Role Overview
We’re looking for a creative, strategic, and data-driven Social Media Specialist to lead the planning, creation, and execution of our social media initiatives across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is a natural storyteller, visually driven, and passionate about building online communities through compelling content and smart social strategy.
This role will be central to elevating Metana’s brand awareness, shaping our online voice, and driving measurable outcomes across all social channels.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that accelerates engagement, follower growth, and brand visibility.
- Align social initiatives with broader marketing and company objectives.
- Support integrated marketing campaigns by owning social media coverage end-to-end.
Content Creation & Management
- Create, schedule, and publish high-quality, platform-specific content across Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Lead content production efforts—including graphics, video snippets, carousels, and short-form media—collaborating closely with designers and videographers.
- Manage and maintain a structured social content calendar to ensure consistency and timely execution.
Community Engagement
- Interact with our online community by replying to comments, DMs, mentions, and community discussions.
- Launch engagement activations such as polls, Q&As, challenges, and user-generated content initiatives.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor and analyze social media performance using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or native insights.
- Provide clear, actionable reports and recommendations to enhance content performance, reach, and overall ROI.
Trend Monitoring & Innovation
- Stay updated with emerging social trends, platform updates, and audience behavior patterns.
- Test new creative formats, features, and storytelling styles to keep Metana’s content fresh and relevant.
Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, creative, and community teams to ensure cohesive campaign execution.
- Coordinate with influencers, ecosystem partners, and collaborators to expand organic reach and engagement.
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience managing social media channels for a brand or organization.
- Demonstrated success in growing audience bases and boosting engagement across multiple platforms.
Skills
- Strong storytelling and content creation abilities.
- Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and inform strategy.
- Bonus: Familiarity with paid social strategies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
