Creative Strategist – Performance Marketing & Advertising (Mid-Level)

Full-time | Melbourne | Hybrid (The Commons, Cremorne) | 10am–6pm

Uprise Digital is a rapidly scaling acquisition consultancy partnering with service-based businesses generating $1M–$30M+ annually. We're seeking a mid-level Creative Strategist who understands performance marketing, takes ownership of results, and knows how to develop creative that drives conversions. You'll collaborate directly with our media buying team, web specialists, designers, and client partners to produce measurable growth.

This position is ideal for someone who is operationally hands-on, commercially astute, and comfortable being accountable for client success.

What You Bring

  • 2–5+ years in a performance marketing agency or performance creative capacity
  • Deep knowledge of Meta and/or Google advertising (strategic or execution experience)
  • Proven ability to conceptualise and oversee UGC, short-form video, static ads, and concept-driven creative
  • Strong copywriting skills (hooks, ad scripts, messaging angles, headlines, CTAs)
  • Working knowledge of conversion rate optimisation, landing page best practices, and full-funnel strategy
  • Experience analysing competitor activity through Meta Ad Library, YouTube ads, and Google keyword research tools
  • Comfortable presenting strategic recommendations to clients and facilitating discussions
  • Proven track record managing multiple SME client accounts and driving end-to-end results
  • Self-starter who operates with speed, autonomy, and initiative within a collaborative environment

This is not an entry-level opportunity. This role demands experience, sound judgement, and accountability.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop performance-focused creative strategies for a portfolio of 5–10 clients
  • Transform business objectives into actionable ad concepts, messaging angles, and testing roadmaps
  • Brief and guide UGC creators, videographers, and design teams to produce high-converting ads
  • Partner closely with media buyers to ensure creative aligns with campaign performance insights
  • Execute competitive intelligence gathering via Meta Ad Library, YouTube advertising, and Google keyword tools
  • Design structured creative testing frameworks (UGC variations, hooks, static tiles, video formats)
  • Identify and troubleshoot funnel friction points (ad → landing page → CRM → conversion)
  • Lead client consultations, present weekly optimisations, and provide strategic guidance
  • Collaborate with the web team on landing page enhancements and CRO initiatives

You'll own the outcome—not just create assets and hope they perform.
