Job Role:

The Field Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth within an assigned geographic territory by managing existing customers and acquiring new business across various industry sectors. The role emphasizes face-to-face client engagement, ensuring consistent service quality, and maintaining customer satisfaction through proactive account servicing and issue resolution.

This position requires a balance between relationship management and business development, leveraging in-person sales activities to meet revenue goals and expand the customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of existing and potential customers through personal sales visits and ongoing relationship building.
  • Provide personalized service and coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction, service recovery, and credit control resolution.
  • Develop and execute an annual customer call cycle (planned and unplanned visits) to secure orders and monitor competitor activity.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and customer data in the CRM or customer database system.
  • Analyze sales and performance data to identify trends, track success, and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (operations, finance, and customer service) to ensure seamless execution of client needs.
  • Report sales activities, forecasts, and results to management on a regular basis.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree: Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Economics, or related fields.
  • Experience:
    • At least 2 years of proven experience in field sales, corporate sales, or business development
    • Experience as sales in logistics or express delivery industry.
  • Professional Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Proven ability to manage and grow customer relationships at all levels.
    • Innovative, analytical, and goal-oriented mindset.
    • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Language: English (able to communicate with customers)
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Other: Willing to travel to assigned territories.
