Middle office Analyst (Remote Work)

Kenetic is looking for an analytical, detail-oriented person to help us keep our cryptocurrency trading operations running smoothly on a daily basis. We’re a young, rapidly expanding, and highly profitable firm, amongst the brightest minds in the industry. You’ll implement processes and procedures to confirm correctness of our trading data and P&L. And you’ll liaise with our trading partners as well as our trading and development teams to get issues rectified quickly. What you’ll do:

· Generate daily P&L reporting using our existing tools.

· Identify and flag issues in our reconciliations and live trading data.

· Use Kenetic’s in house command line tools to narrow down and identify the time of occurrence of a discrepancy, then analyse the raw data to find the cause of an issue.

· Communicate quickly and clearly with our trading team about issues identified and your current progress.

· Execute a number of daily, semi-automated processes that ensure data quality is maintained.

· Work directly with the cryptocurrency exchanges that we trade on to ensure pre-arranged loans are secured in a timely manner and issues are resolved quickly.

· Booking loans and other incidental items into our position management system.

· Generating documentation for Over-The-Counter trades and sending to clients.

Who you are:

· Confident and self-motivated, strong communication skills.

· Accurate and methodical, with great attention to detail.

· Ability to thrive in pressured environments.

· A problem solver, willing to dive into our trading data set and discover the reason for discrepancies showing up in our headline P&L figures.

· A bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Alternatively at least three years of professional experience in the financial services or IT industry.

· Experience with running and/or developing command line programs on Windows or Linux.

· A working knowledge of SQL.
