Job Overview:
Toyota Lanka is seeking a highly capable and resilient Team Lead – IT Operations to lead the company’s IT infrastructure support, end-user services, and asset management across multiple locations. This is a critical leadership role that requires managing a geographically distributed team and delivering consistent service quality in a dynamic and demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support IT capacity planning and contribute to the infrastructure roadmap, including hardware procurement, lifecycle management, and renewal planning to ensure sustained operational reliability.
· Lead a geographically distributed IT support team (IT Business Partners) across multiple branches, ensuring consistent service delivery and high availability of IT operations.
· Supervise branch-level IT activities, including endpoint support, printer and PABX troubleshooting, and asset management.
· Manage day-to-day technical support and maintain strong vendor relationships for hardware, networking, PABX, and infrastructure services.
· Handle escalations, monitor operational health across all sites, and enforce compliance with IT service standards.
· Oversee IT helpdesk operations, manage service tickets, monitor SLA adherence, and drive continuous improvement in user satisfaction.
· Ensure accurate and real-time tracking of IT assets throughout their lifecycle.
Candidate Profile:
· 5+ years of experience managing IT operations, infrastructure, and large-scale user support.
· Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; professional certifications (ITIL, CCNA, etc.) preferred.
· Proven leadership in managing distributed teams, conflict resolution, and field-level IT delivery.
· Strong hands-on knowledge in hardware, networks, endpoints, IT asset management, and service desk tools.
· Experience digitalization, and process automation.
