Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic HR Manager to lead our human resources function in a fast-paced tech company. This role requires a business-minded professional who can navigate the unique challenges of a technology company while building exceptional employee experiences. The ideal candidate will serve as both a strategic partner to leadership and a trusted advisor to employees across all levels.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives and support rapid growth
- Partner with executive leadership to dentify talent needs and workforce planning initiatives
- Lead organizational design and restructuring efforts to support product development cycles
- Analyze workforce data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making
- Drive culture initiatives that foster innovation, collaboration, and high performance
Talent Management
- Design and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies for technical and non-technical roles
- Build relationships with universities, and tech communities to strengthen talent pipeline
- Create career development pathways for engineers, product managers, and other key roles
- Lead succession planning for critical positions and high-potential employees
Employee Experience & Operations
- Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
- Design competitive compensation and benefits packages that attract top tech talent
- Implement employee engagement initiatives and measure their effectiveness
- Manage employee relations issues with discretion and sound judgment
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in a multi-state environment
Required Qualifications
Experience & Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
- 10 years of progressive HR experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Proven experience in tech or product-focused companies with 100-500 employees
- Experience supporting technical teams including engineers, product managers, and designers
Technical Competencies
- Deep understanding of tech industry talent markets and compensation trends
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems, and HR analytics tools
