About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Accountant to join our finance team. In this key role, you will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the strategic goals of our app-driven business. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the company, analyzing app-based revenue streams, and driving process improvements to scale operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the company’s accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
• Oversee and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, including general ledger maintenance and reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support management decision-making.
• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate the performance of app-based revenue streams and operational expenses.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, including audits and tax filings.
• Collaborate with the tech and product teams to integrate financial systems with app-based payment and reward systems.
• Lead initiatives to improve financial processes and implement scalable solutions for the company’s growing operations.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff.
• Support the CFO and senior leadership team with ad hoc financial analyses and strategic projects.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Fully or partly qualified in CA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA.
• At least 3+ years of experience in accounting, with a proven track record in financial reporting and analysis.
• Experience in app-based businesses or tech companies is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in computerized accounting systems and web-based financial applications.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to handle large datasets and create dynamic financial models.
• Strong understanding of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
