As An analyst you will manage the implementation of data tracking offering, as well as work within the UX, Strategy and Research team to carry out and improve our analysis offering.

Key duties & responsibilities

• Work with Clients and the Digital Strategist to define tracking requirements and develop full tracking plans for new and existing sites that adhere to their budgets.
• Set up Google Analytics accounts for our clients and audit existing Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (GTM) set ups that may have been done by external agencies/third parties.
• Assist the Digital Strategist and CREs in onboarding clients onto Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
• Implement, set up, debug and optimise GTM for existing and new clients.
• Implement social pixels (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) via GTM
• Set up and iterate Looker Studio (Google Data Studio) to generate reports for new projects and existing clients’ websites.
• Help plan client training in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag manager (GTM), Google Search Console (GSC) and Looker Studio, including creating the relevant training materials for each client.
• Assist the Digital Strategist in collecting data for case studies, internal websites and other internal requirements.
• Work with internal teams to ensure basic understanding of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, help scope and quote for new projects and work with existing websites.

Skills and experience

Essential

• Demonstrable technical knowledge of GA4 and Google Tag Manager, including implementation and debugging, building data layers and event tracking.
• Good understanding of Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO), Pay per click marketing (PPC), Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Social Media Analytics and Ecommerce Analytics.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the importance of data, analytics and OKRs.
• Passion for web data and the motivation to help shape and grow the data team within the Strategy, User Experience and Research team.
• Experience of work within an agency.
