Responsibilities

• Take ownership of defining cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring.
• Create and maintain initiatives with a wide array of technology experience ranging from system/application development, operations/engineering and architecture.
• Provide technical expertise to maximize value in technology decisions and strategic direction of the current applications, solutions, infrastructure and emerging technologies and assist to continuously improve internal processes.
• Lead development and Implementation of enhanced target architectures as well as target operate models for new/existing architectures and services.
• Design and implement structured Enterprise Architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on premise-to-cloud migration deployments requirements.
• Review database/data warehouse architectures to translate to cloud solutions.
• Lead a team of Engineers by providing direction and mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Information Systems,Computer Science, Telecommunication, Cybersecurity or related field of study.
• 8+ years of professional experience with proven work experience as a Cloud Architect or at a similar level.
• In-depth cloud domain experience in Azure, AWS, GCP and Microsoft cloud service offerings (O365 architecture).
• Experience designing backend rest APIs, Microservices and database models.
• Strong Application layer Architectural know-how.
• Working experience with on-prem to cloud migration (Preferably to Azure) is a plus.
• Serverless experience with AWS lambda or Azure functions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and has the ability to produce high-quality client presentation documents.
• Sound knowledge on data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools.
