In this role, you’ll work on the design and development of real-world hardware products, focusing on embedded systems, wireless protocols, and low-power applications. Your Role:
- Plan, conceptualize, and develop embedded systems for new hardware products.
- Build and test functional prototypes for validation and demonstration purposes.
- Design scalable system architectures to support commercial deployment.
- Develop detailed schematic designs and support the PCB layout process.
- Write and maintain embedded software for processors and RTOS environments.
- Develop and test PCB layouts using standard industry tools.
- Integrate wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, cellular) as needed.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and external partners.
- Document all phases of design and development to support internal reviews and product lifecycle requirements.
- Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
- Apply industry-standard principles for design, testing, and human-centered engineering.
Your Profile:
- MSc in Engineering or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in developing commercial embedded hardware/software solutions.
- Strong experience in schematic design and multi-layer PCB development.
- Proficient in C and C++ programming for embedded systems (ARM, microcontrollers).
- Experience with mixed-signal circuit design and system integration.
- Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and interest in embedded AI applications is a plus.
- Solid understanding of software design patterns and version control using Git.
- Experience with KiCAD 6 or similar design tools.
- Skilled in designing and debugging 4+ layer PCBs using tools like oscilloscopes.
- Strong understanding of wireless communication protocols.
- Experience with RTOS such as Zephyr and concurrent system design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines independently and in a team environment.
- Working knowledge of product certification and compliance standards.
