This key role of QA Manager will be responsible for overall quality, process, and strategic input for delivering a world class customer experience to our 8 Million+ users and will directly work with to the leadership team.

The Role

• Prepare/review test plans, test schedules, and task breakdowns, for assigned projects, identify risks and issues related to the successful completion of planned testing activities
• Drives innovation and optimize overall test process
• Collaborate, coordinate, communicate and provide direction to an offshore testing team via QA Leadership utilizing excellent verbal and written skills
• Facilitation skills for driving meetings, (example defect triage) utilizing critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Identify opportunities for integration testing and end-to-end testing with other projects or existing applications.
• Identify opportunities for test automation and maintain existing automation frameworks and tests.
• Provide feedback to management on project status/quality and represent QA at interdepartmental meetings.
• Review requirements and functional specifications for various projects and provide feedback.
• Ability to strategically assess incoming initiatives and propose a well-balanced test approach (Test Architecture)

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, 1-2 years as a Senior QA Lead utilizing metrics to drive results
• Demonstrated success in leading internal/external QA teams
• Proficient understanding of Software Quality Assurance methodologies for Agile/SAFe Framework
• Knowledge of various technical stacks (Java, JavaScripts, GraphQL), integrated API technologies, Cloud infrastructure & computing, and Mobile technologies
• Self-starter who takes initiative and can work in a team environment, collaborating across multiple teams simultaneously with tight deadlines
• Excellent people and communication skills – able to effectively provide feedback and drive issue resolution and root cause analysis
• Ability to stay current with Guardian office tools and use them effectively
• Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction and works well under pressure.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
